The Campsite Noise Policy
At Porthclais Campsite, we want all guests to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable outdoor experience. To ensure a peaceful stay for everyone, we kindly ask all visitors to follow our noise guidelines.
1. Quiet Hours
To respect fellow campers, quiet hours are from 10.30pm to 7.30am. During this time:
– Keep voices low and avoid loud conversations.
– No amplified music, excessive vehicle noise, or loud entertainment.
– Generators should not be used unless for essential medical needs, with prior approval.
2. General Noise Etiquette
– Music and entertainment must be kept at a low volume at all times.
– Large group gatherings should be mindful of nearby campers.
– Children and pets should be supervised to minimize disruptive noise.
– Avoid slamming car doors, shouting, or excessive noise near tent pitches.
3. Respect for Nature & Others
– Wildlife thrives in quiet settings—let’s keep noise levels down to preserve the environment.
– Respect campers who may be resting or enjoying nature in silence.
– If a camper requests lower noise levels, please comply courteously.
4. Enforcement of Noise Rules
– Campsite staff may remind campers of noise policies if necessary.
– Repeated violations may result in warnings or removal from the campsite.
Thank you for helping us create a respectful and enjoyable camping experience for all visitors!
